Student Housing: Choosing Where to Live

On-campus housing has the advantage of being, well, on campus. But living in residence often costs a lot more than living by yourself. Oftentimes when you live in residence, you have to buy into a meal plan that’s fairly overpriced also. But there are benefits to living in the house: you can wake up for class ten minutes before class starts and still be on time!

If you have a meal plan when you’re in residence, it means your meals are prepared for you, which saves you the hassle and time of meal preparation. Additionally, it means that sometimes you have to eat at specific times of the day, or that you might not have a lot of choice in your meal choice. Continue reading
